SC10 Thread
The RPM front bumper conversion is pretty much a must have. Most guys I talked to told me to get that first on my FT. It just gives your chassis so much extra protection on what is probably the weakest point on the truck. http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXYVK1

I want to try the killer bones???? I can't remember the name of it now.
It looked smaller and out of the way.
That is what I got as its not as heavy as the RPM bumper and puts the weight down low, protects the chassis front end from breaking. Heck, the manufacturer of it even runs a broken chassis still with it on (he used it to repair his chassis) to this day.

So...
If I just want to replace the stock RS hexes with set screwed Al ones... Which would I use. I'd like to keep the stock offset because I already have the Hazard wheels.
Thanks in advance.

What are you wanting the alloys for? Reason I ask is that if its so they hexes stop coming off, you can just drill the hexes and put a set screw in them. I did that for the fronts, works great.

Oh wait, I made those myself. Man I love building r/c cars tricker than anyone else.
Oh I talked to the admin about changing the name of this thread to "How to convert your SC10 to hexes and big bore springs", being that those are the only two things ever being discussed here.

Can someone post a link where can I get FN CUDA Chassis brace?

Yes, T-Bone Racing bumpers.
Careful, you might need rotator cuff surgery.
Maybe I'll make my own too.

Rotator cuff surgery? You should make a set, they work very well for keeping the front of the chassis nice and stiff. If you make a set, be sure to post a pic of them.
No problem. Rear springs are 22 buggy rear pinks (2.3) and front are 22 buggy front blues (3.8). I know the rates don't cross exactly, but they work well. I didn't do my normal run with X change to Y thing. I just slapped them on and raced. Next time I go and practice with my SC10, I am going to put the AE springs back on, run the truck, then switch the springs to see if there is a difference. For ride height I am running 31mm front, and 30mm rear.
Any rim manufacturer do an offset rim for the FT SC10 without hexes??
Thx...
