SC10 4x4 Thread
Maybe it was a tie - the AE News says he was second.

A hard-fought battle from Hartson with local Josh Wheeler in the 4WD Short Course class saw him come up just a bit short of claiming a third victory on the weekend and Hartson had to settle for the second step of the podium in the 4WD Short Course class.

Damn, I was just talking about that setup the other day. I'm guessing he was working on that before I made the post. Just want to be clear that I'm not a shill for that guy in anyway as he has been caught a few times creating fake accounts to chat up his products.
Absolutely
I love my truck
I love the Garodiscs. They work fantasticly without adding a bunch of extra rotating mass to the slipper assembly.
I love that MTK came up with the idea of a clutch basket, as it worked towards resolving the slipper issue while still using the readily available pads. (No, I won't call the others copy cats, they were just later to the game with their own similar ideas)
and I love that AE isn't SO focused on mass producing disposable trucks like some other manufacturers, and are more interested in trying new things, pushing the envelope, and just plain having fun....I mean, when Nick Case set the last world record with the Schumacher, I don't think he had much help from them...just a chassis and a couple of bucks to put their name on the body....AE is spending a lot of time and effort to push towards the mythical 200MPH.
So yes, I have lots of positive things to say, I've just said them all already, about 10000 posts ago.

He did not win the 4x4 SC class at the Jconcepts race Josh Wheeler did with xsct. It was the only class they did not win though.

I'm putting in my Exotek chassis and when I put the stock 14mm screws back into the chassis to connect the front and rear portions of the car I cannot get the screw in all the way. It still has a couple mm to go. I am positive I am putting in the 14mm screws. Perhaps the holes are not tapped all the way. I feel that if I try any harder I could break the screw.
Has anyone else encountered this?
I would provide a picture, but I don't have enough posts to do so.
