Do you guys have experience running kyosho velvets? And how are they? We have original b4 shocks on my boys b4, but looking to upgrade to either kyosho velvets or v2.

Yes, I have them on both my B4.1 buggies and I really like them. I have a brand new set of V2 shocks still in the bags from my worlds kit that I don't plan on using. Maybe I should list them in the classifieds, thanks for the reminder.

It's the plug that goes from the esc to the receiver. I need it for a race in less than 24 hours lol. I can take it to my lhs, should they know what to do?

use a exacto knife and push on the gold connector theu the little window on the black terminal end. they have a little barb on them that hold them in. take them all three out cut them the same length, remove all the damaged wires. solder them back to the gold connector and reasemble. make sure you get the wires back in the same location on the black plug.

i would assume by under geared he meant too small a pinion, i am curious too, i just picked up a used ftb4.1 with a novak gtb and 10.5 ss, and it came with a 21 pinion. what should i bump up to, 24-25 or more?

Thats what Im thinking too, I'm gunna havta drop from my spur from 87 to 84 first though, I physically can't fit a larger pinion because of my spur is too large.

The car was just updated to the latest parts within the last month. The Worlds kit will be the current car for the foreseeable future.

Out dated? To what? Every buggy out there is a copy of an AE since the late 80's. I dont see any other manufacturer having a buggy platform that has been so successful.. Lossi, mid mount motor. New idea? yes.. Does anyone use it no.. Durango? New, nimble? yes. Capable Sure. But is it ALWAYS at the front? NO..Tamiya! Who?

AE has a record that the other manufacturers dream about.. Sure, they make stuff just as good, if you need to have the latest design and what is the buzz, get something that just was released..You will still be lapped..
