With the saddles "side by side" and all the weight up front you get alot more steering. With the saddles inline as many have mentioned, the car performs better with the weight centeralized. I only ran the saddles inline as the majority of people run them that way and have had great results. It will depend on driving style as well. If you are just switching to saddles buy another center section and drill the holes for both inline and side by side so that you can see what you like better.

Thanks Chad for the info. Seems you guys like the handling of the saddles better than stick packs. From following the forum, the only issue I have with converting to inline is limited room for some Esc. I am running mmp, but was looking at purchasing a rx8 or LRP esc. Going to saddles might drive what esc i use. I just ordered the Exotek chassis as I wanted the extra weight with lcg and use the overtray. I am currently running a stick pack. I am racing at club level and having fun and wanted to add some handling upgrades to the truck.

The MMP will fit on the belt side of the chassis so you should be fine if you wanted to switch to saddles. With the Exotek chassis and saddles it will be worth it. And a plus is Exotek just released there "inline" saddle setup, or you could buy the RCShox saddle tray.

Yes you will need to adjust your setup once you switch to the Exotek chassis and saddle packs. I wouldnt touch your setup, for example camber link locations, diff fluid or shock locations untill you run the truck and see how you like it. But you will most likely need to adjust your ride height and camber again once you install all the new stuff.

Where was the tip on the weak slipper, flexing chassis, belt skip, warping arms, lack of balance with stick packs, horrible clicking from the rear sun gear (which I did talk to someone at the AE tent at the Lucas Oil Offroad Expo in Pomona,Ca this past Oct. He said it was most def my belt skipping that was causing the click in the rear and the factory guys were having the same issue...yeah okay). I understand that they don't want to let the cat out of the bag on new stuff coming out as they are just testing like the big bore shocks and springs for the B4.1 or as you joked the B5. But I see nothing on this new truck that was a big secret. It's all stuff we already knew about and you smart guys have made fixes for. Can anyone name one thing about this version that is new that was a top secret prototype now released to the masses? (Theme from Jeopardy playing)

I've tried helping with the answers but people don't like the response they get or claim that it's just a copied design/ripoff etc.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, if any one has any questions, feel free to ask and I am more than willing to help to the best of my ability.

To your knowledge are there any plans for updating the plastics on the 4x4 line?

For one, I would appreciate you participating more, not less. If you felt unwelcome, I personally apologize - everyone I know who knows you says you are a good guy. Some of us ask hard questions, and I don't expect that to change. So lets start over again, with a hardball but easily answered question -

What is the official line on warped A arms?

I have replaced three pair of them after they warped severely enough to bind on the hinge pins. Other than the first pair, my truck is always stored tires off and on a car stand, and since the second pair, additionally stored with the shocks removed from the vehicle.

In my case, my truck is ran exclusively at the track, and the arms are only good for about 3 race weekends, rotating them L/R every race day.

Default another question for chris J

What is the official line on the Diffs with their wobbly outdrives and premature wear of the bushing and constant leaking?

Anything coming down the line to correct or extend the useable life span of the diffs?
