It is in my list to do this season. I need to get with the Fords and possibly hitch hike up with them. They made it sound like a blast. The over night mod sounds like a great idea.

Well today the Novarossi P5XLT was out for some track testing and I feel its testicles have finally dropped completely, the engine just started to scream and then we started with the wheelie action too so here is some footage from today and the motor never got over 220F and the outside temp was 98f and as dry and dusty as I have seen this track, thank god they watered during the day after this footage.

I can't wait to get my clocked Nova P5XLT to drop into my mugen truggy. Just a couple more weeks. The people at my track won't know what hit them

Dan, we might let you ride on the roof of the RV..

CRE track has some serious traction, waiting to here when the big summer race will be so that we can pencil it in on our summer race calender.

you have that engine running very nicely...sure punches up into the RPM really nicely......idle drops instantly too...very sweet tune you have on that....... How is it comparing to the other engines around ? also what are you seeing for runtimes in Buggy ?

Finally fired up the P5 tonight, started first push after the Comp heat did its magic. got 2 tanks through it before the neighbour told me to shut the hell up

This thing is nuts, ran it pretty rich and was taking it very easy just letting it break in a little bit more like Neal suggested, and WOW, still just so much power even just going easy, this thing really is going to be an animal once its dropped its nuts!

I came back from running and the wife asked why I had this big goofy smile on my face, I just start giggling like a school boy when I start thinking about how powerful this motor felt already when I wasnt even thrashing it!

Temped it after the tank, and was at 90degreed celsius. Whats the ideal temp for these once race tuned?

Yes and no !

The Clocked P5 is very versatile and reacts very well to clutch and pipe tuning...........With just a change of the clutching and pipe we can tune the engine from one extreme to the other......So no matter what the condition or vehicle this engine can be dialed in to deliver...

Many engines out there feel all powerful and crazy on a slippery track, but will feel like gutless wonders on a high traction track.......The Clocked P5 has enough power to pull a truggy on 100% traction, but is smooth enough that it can be tuned to run in a Buggy on a slick track........If one word were to describe this engine it would be versatile...it is also very good on fuel....buggys seeing 12 minutes is not uncommon

Just got off the phone with Neal. He's been feeling under the weather the last couple of days (4). So if your not getting answers or responses back as quickly as normal that's the reason.
