Running pinned locks the front and rear together which makes the ball diff useless. If you want to run pinned use garo disks and/or clutch basket

If your front tires are ballooning and all the weight is on the rear I think running and overdrive on the front would make it worse no?

Maybe run a stiffer rear spring so the back end doesnt squat as.much could be a fix? And/ or running lighter front diff fluid?


Just guessing here.

Nope. Didn't fix the problem

Anyone know why the Pro 4 would sit under Throttle and make feint stutter noises. If I spin the shaft it will kick over and spin on throttle but the motor is almost a little glitchy in it's rotation. (rythmatic glitchy)

MMP Speedo
Pro 4
Tekin Sensor wire
In Smart Sense mode
Full battery
wired exactly as stated
~whole system begins to heat up as I test fixes

Pull the motor apart and clean it out with air, your motor is.cogging, probably got dirt on the stator etc.

Coyote if the whole system heats up while you are trying to fix the promblem then something is definatly wrong. I remember you saying that you put the 1410 in for a little while, so I guess the MMP was working fine then? So it has to be the motor. I would call Tekin asap.

Double check to see if your sensor wire is not damaged.
I have tried MMP with many types of motors and worked fine, but i noticed that the Pro4 motor woks best with the matching Tekin RX8 ESC

Brand spanking new wire, and used another brand new one out of the Redline 540 I got for my sc10 2w

Well didnt he just get the motor? How much dirt could actually get in there. ( I am assuming I dont know if he ran the motor before this promblem started)

Did you try a new sensor cable? If not try that first, then if that doesn't fix it look at the sensor in the motor, that would be my course to start off.

Just a couple post up he said that he is using a new sensor wire.

Sorry, I didn't see this post, I would think you have a bad sensor, I had one go out in my novak a couple of weeks ago and changed the sensor and that fixed it.

Brand. new. motor. hasn't left my bench.
New Sensor Wire
and the MMP has worked flawlessly for my 1410 and my 1415 until this very moment.

I appreciate the help guys.
