ASC9040 looks to be the part number for the new 4.1WC kit. Only thing that looks to have changed is the +8 chassis and body. Looks like we will have to wait for a 4.2 for big bores later in the year.

Any shock gurus have a good set-up for this?
I'm running at the same track you are. Front losi silver/kyosho white, 30 2's 3 limiters in on top out on bottom, Rear losi pink/kyosho gold 30 3's drilled to 55's 2 limiters in and in... Come look at my buggy if you want...

all this confusion with all these diff manuf. parts on the car somewhat irks me already...LOL! cmon' ae....deliver the goods with a dialed set of BB's
hmmm..
If you are running stock AE springs, You do not need to run anything from Traxxas, RPM or Losi. just use what came with the shocks

If you want to run the Losi BB springs.
The RPM upper collars or the Traxxas upper collars will need to be used.
Lower Losi cups will need to be used... the Losi springs are 12mm... without the listed parts they fit right over the whole shock unit

I would think so, but not 100% on that.

Yes, but you would not be able to use the GHEA collars which is not really a big deal. If you could afford those collars you should be able to afford the V2 shocks
