The B5, B6 and Banito are all pretty great engines in stock form though. The P5 never really was a "WOW" engine up until you got your hands on it. I would not hesitate to run any of the Werks engines or the Banito in stock form but I would hesitate on the P5. IMO you took a $200 so-so engine and doubled its value. May be my new favorite out of all the choices.

So I was initially a little disappointed , so I put the project on the backburner.....Well to make a long story short over the last year I made some very substantial advancements in pulling more RPM out of my engines...The P5XLT responded extremely well to these new changes and unlocked a top end I would have never thought possible from this engine a year ago.....With the changes made the engine has a more effective scavenging process, which not only increases power, it also increases the runtimes....
Sounds like I'll be ordering the P5XLT, I can't wait to get my truggy all together with a CRE motor.

Thanks for all the info guys.

My recommendation to anyone is just try one engine under Neil's guidance so he can provide according to your tracks keep in mind he can custom tailor any engine to your liking. If you don't like then give feedback he's very proud and takes his work very serious always trying to improve.

Huge +1 Jay! So many people just order off the shelf modded engines and 3 months later they complain about it being to much engine for their needs.

I always consult with Neal before making an engine purchase from him and 9 out of 10 times I end up getting an engine that wasn't on my radar. Perfect example is my recent Clocked purchase. Thought I wanted a Clocked OS Speed but after a couple conversations with Neal, I got a Clocked Nova Plus 4 done up for me and I couldn't be happier!

It's like buying a new car. You don't just show up to a lot without doing any research before hand.....unless it's German, has 4 doors and 500 ponies under the bonnet....but I digress

I highly reccomed giving Neal or Jon a ring/drop an email before you buy. You can thank me later!

Kudos to you Neal. I have tried to quit about 8 times in 30 years of smoking and failed. It is the single most difficult thing to do. It was easier for me to quit drugs 20 years ago and I was not a "casual" drug user. Stick with it bro.

Neil, what pipe and header combination you liking on the Bonito. It will be going into an 8 1/2 pound Latemodel, running on various size track's also running against 28's

is the bottom on the bonito that much better than the Toro, the 86 set seems....sounds soft when needing bottom end punch out of slower corner speed exit, the cars are heavy and need to hit very aggressively, we run foams so grip really labors the motors.

The mod Bonito we run has unbelievable bottom end ...more then any other .21 i have ever run...even on the 086/shorty header the bottom end is off the charts for a .21.....it feels more like a 28 down low, and ramps up on top really good.....We have a locked down track surface so grippy your shoes squeak and the Bonito eats up like nothing....
