As for a battery strap, our top deck works perfectly for that purpose. It also makes your chassis much stiffer and the truck more precise. I gained traction from the stiffer chassis.
We also sell some CF "battery spacers" that are designed to be taped to the chassis and keep the battery from moving from side to side when you run a center-line battery set-up.
Two pieces of material around either side
-the B44 hardware posts
(You're basically slimming the saddle setup by narrowing the "pocket" but you use the same hardware for the posts.)
- use the saddle pack hold down at a Diagonal.
couple drilled holes to make it work and it'll look good too? Maybe someone's got an easier idea.
Or a Battery Velcro tie down? Kinda ghetto but it works.

. I used 2 rear sc10 body mounts and cut one of the nerf bars to make this. It is not as nice looking as the b44 setup but it is only temporary so I can test the difference between stick packs and saddles. http://s1192.photobucket.com/albums/...Picture002.jpg

Wish I could upload my pics from rctech but everytime I try it says "upload failed"
I had a ton of trouble getting the pinion off the motor, well I can verify a 15T pinion fits through the hole with a hammer
. I had to hammer the pinion off and the set screw was out. What would be the cause of a stripped spur? I just want to try and prevent it again.
Two points:
- You can get the body way lower if you take a dremel tool with a rotary stone and notch the body right where it hits the downtubes on the front bumper.
- I'd add 3-4 oz of lead to the RF corner of the chassis. You need the weight anyway, and the truck has wedge when you run the stick battery so you have to either switch to saddles or ballast that corner.
Why would you add that much weight on just the RF? Seems more like you would want RR and LF instead unless I missed something? Thanks.

The drilled chassis is online now.

Another question do you have the dimensions of the saddle tray so I can see which saddles to buy and make sure they will fit? Thanks.
