Until I blow my VZ in my other car and replace the internals with Arrow ones, I'm speaking as if Arrow is true mimic of the VZ.

If it were my choice, the 2050 is great on bottom end and really smooth, but average mileage. 2060 gets better mileage and smoother top end. Club racing I'd take 2050 all day long.

RE12 is similar to 9901, but not truly identical. Not sure why people like 9901, my guess is it makes the engine powerband more like those 'other' engines they've had. Of course if you were budgeting, JP3 has tons of all around performance but gets a bad wrap because of the name on the pipe.

There isn't really "one" pipe per se, just a pipe that matches your driving style.

A Svede tried a 9901 on a ZX Speed this summer. He tried everything but the engine just didn't ran perfect. After he switched to 2060 the temp dropped 20º C and the engine ran perfect. 9901 dosn't work on OS engines. But on Nova Rossi based engine...

I think its great that this engine works well with so many different pipes. How many times have you decided to try a new engine only to find out that none of the 12 pipes in your collection will work with it?
Lots of good feedback from racers about how all the different combo's work. The only importance to me is a good crisp snappy bottom end and 10 minute pit stops. If I can get that with 6 different pipe choices, that's just awesome!!

Is the minimum wear on the crank pin the same as the OS? Heard these are a lot tighter than the VZ's were, so wasn't sure.

Well it looks like all the other brand named (PR, GO, Alpha, Argus)
Tiawaneese engine companys have dropped their distributors
here in the U.S.. Seems that they will be distributing their engines
factory direct in the U.S.A. in 2012 and cutting out the middle man.
Is this going to be happening with Hobby Pro USA and any other
distributors of Arrow engines too ? Any word on this yet ?

The only company I heard this about was precirotate (sp )

Hobby Pro USA is still distributing Arrow-Racing engines in 2012.

I did hear that Alpha was no longer being distributed in the USA.

I hear the Tiawaneese engine manufactures have a new game plan
and want to set up factory direct distribution in the U.S..
I expect some of the other distributors of Tiawaneese engines will
be making anouncements about some changes soon enough.
But then again, some of the engine importers never make any
effort to keep their customers or distributors informed about the
engines anyways. I think out of all the importers of Tiawaneese
engines into the U.S.. The guys distributing the Alpha engines have
done the best job promoting and backing the racers of their engines.
Looks like the Arrow engine distributors are doing a great job of
backing their customers too.

i may think the distributors here aren't doing enough to sell more. so the taiwanese plan to take over and ask the reseller to move over.

In personally i know GO Alpha and Argus can not be.They still cooperate with their partner also.

Alpha will have new one in 2012.

Seems that you are always counerdicting yourself on these threads
max. A big reason why I have learned to disregard any posts that
you make. So I'd rather rely on the info provided to me from the insiders
on this end of the Tiawaneese engine issue.

i must say i really digging this motor

Anybody have anything to say about which fuel is better for this engine? I am going to run 30%. Don't know if i should pick O'Donnell Speed Blend , Sidewinder Team Stryke, or Losi Nitrotane Race? If you have anyother fuel to recommend just let me know.
