Overall more stability especially into corners and sweepers. It is worth the extra cost IMPO and I really like mine

I never drove the car without the +8 so I can't compare, but my car is very easy to drive and I'm sure in the right hands, or eventually mine with more practice, it's quite fast too.

Oh and Angelo, I'm not gluing my servo saver....... NO WAY lol. I hit too much stuff right now

Alright, so I've seen a couple different options as far as the +8mm chassis, the regular one and an aluminum one, what would be recommended? My SC I upgraded to an billet chassis due to the fact that the truck was to light, how do our buggies hold?

With a fullsize servo, shorty pack, and no extra weight ThunderbirdJunkie is at 1485g RTR, body and all.

That's 14g underweight. ROAR and IFMAR state 1499g min weight.

Are you guys running diff fluid in your FT T4.1s? If so, what weight? My local track is high bite clay, so i'm going to try 5k first.

Default B4.1 V2 Shock Tuning Tip

I know , posted it already before ...

wish to repeat

Of all the good tuning suggestions I have told you guys to try ?

The switch to the standard white shock bushing instead of the black on the V2 shock really improves the cars performance.

Its now officially a

Must do

when rebuilding your shocks on your B4.1 ride....

try 3k diff fluid and 2 gears.
or 3k and 4 gears

The weight will change if you run only 2 gears

Standard white shock bushings? I don't have those on my shocks.
I have a spacer in between the 2 o-rings and small limiters. those white things in that pic aren't on my shocks.

8mm chassis (A must have)
rear ballast weight and other weights placed in chassis (A must have)
Kyosho velvet shocks (In my opinion the best upgrade I've done to the car)
I run associated springs, lower eyes, and new style spring cups on them.
Glued servo saver (A great cheap upgrade)
B-Fast diff balls and ring kit (works awesome)
0.0 rear aluminum hub blocks
This is just a few things I've done to my car to (IMO) make it better

Has anyone gone from Barcodes to Scrubs on the front of a b4.1 and is there a noticeable difference? Or which ones are better?
