Replace your spindle and it will tighten it up but it won't be tight. I make it a habit about every other bearing replacement to replace hubs and spindles .

a lot of the time its the hex that is worn out and causing the slop.

Using Xray 808 hubs on both the 2.0 buggy and truggy eliminates a lot of the typical wheel slop, but as previously stated, having some slop on the Losi's is a good thing. BTW-Using shims to try to get rid of some wheel slop will cause you to blow bearings extremely fast.

I wish we had some Fancy 7075 hexes.

Picked up my 10 deg inclined carriers and spindles. Got home and started to put them on and noticed one said 10 deg and the other said 12 deg. New in package. Bummer!!!!

That sucks. Call up Horizon or TLR customer service and I'm sure they will take care of it immediately. I've always had them take care of me when any issues arise.

I was modding the stock plastic pieces not the aluminum ones.

I am running two race rollers ( one for a spare car ) and they both have the problem. I admitt they have done some miles now and the issue has recently got worse.

Would the aluminium hubs eliminate this problem or would it be best to replace them with the plastic versions.

What brand of bearings are you using? I know there have been some bad batches of pro tech bearings. Check the inner big axle bearings to see how sloppy they are on the axle.

Yea, i know! The shop i bought them from already ordered another set for me. I've had so few problems with losi parts that an ocaisional blip is no biggie really! Just wanted to race with them tonight to see how they work. I did call Losi and left a message, just in case.

im sure this has been asked many times before but i really dont want to look through 900 pages. I just bought a losi 8t 2.0 what are the required upgrades for the truck. any info would be greatly appreciated

None are required, but alum servo horn and servo saver top is pretty good.

V2 Tower
Alum hinge pins holders front and rear
New radio tray
Alum center diff mount
10 degree spindles set for me.

This is what I run and all that I will change.

Put one on one side and the other on the other side and see which way it turns better and then set it up for your track if it's primarly left hand or right hand


Acutally had a problem on my full size race car when the dody shop didn't get the frame straight after an accident. Took it to California Speedway and with the track configuration we ran (road course), it turned left really great. The left side front tire was about 1.5" further aft the the right side front. Sucked turning right but lefts were assume.

I just listed a PILE of losi 2.0 stuff.
