for those using the MMP setups, do you set your start power at high then in 17.5 to get that punch?

I was struggling with too much chassis roll on my truck but I loved every other aspect of it so I tried a rear sway kit. I hadn't seen very many folks talking about using one on the 2wd so I wasn't sure it would be a good idea. I loved it though! I put on the thinnest bar and it really settled the back end down which allowed me to carry much more speed through the fasts S's and in the corners. My truck used to wobble side to side at speed if I had to give steering inputs, but now it is rock solid. I was afraid it would take some rear traction away, but it did not seem to be an issue at all. My truck felt absolutely great and I easily walked away with first place even though I was hacked into last place on the first lap. Can't wait to get out again!

Thanks for sharing. I bought the roll bar kit too, just haven't tried it out yet. Our local track is average in size, very smooth, and gets a light dust on top as the night goes by. Finding traction can sometimes be hard. I'm hoping this is the ticket for those technical areas.

What are the track conditions you run on?

I received a Mamba 7700 in trade. If I wanted to strap this thing in my SC10 and melt the transmission gears, how would I gear it?

exactly what I wanted to know. My setup that I used has A LOT of chassis roll. Its almost comical. With more power than a 17.5 I could tell I was getting some push that I felt would not be there if it didn't roll so much.

Please post your full setup and your track conditions. I would be very curious to see what you are using.

Hey guys,

I need to make some bumpstops for my SC10, because the shock o-rings don't really work well. Which one of these fuel lines would I need to buy: http://www.amainhobbies.com/advanced...%20line&page=1

Thanks,

Chris

The Du-bro line isnt bad. I just found it started to split when I put it on my 1/8 shocks. Belive it or not, the stock Losi stuff is really great. I have used it for an entire year and have not had any problems. Its soft enough to absorb heavy impacts but stiff enough to use as shock limiters. I would get the Losi stuff. I didnt see it on that link but know its under the Losi 8 parts.

I run at The Race Barn in Jefferson City Mo. It is a fairly large indoor track with medium grip in the summer and medium high grip in the winter. The current layout is mostly flowing, high speed, with lots ofnoff camber elements but no huge jumps.

I am running the stock kit with a couple camber changes to suit my driving style. The rear sway with the lightest bar is he only non stock item on my truck. Running a speed passion gt2 lpf and an epic duo 3 7.5 motor with no timing. Wishbones all round. Rear bones level. Front arms level. Stock body.

I know I could get even more out of the truck with some more tuning, but I do not get enough track time to do this. Right now, this set up is working well for me.

Hmm...when we switched from our previous mod motor to the 17.5 in the SC10 we just left the start power at low. Never tried raising the start power.

Been there one time in the middle of winter to pit some nitro guys. Tell G. Barnes Pit Daddy said hello. If you ever come north to Fastlane look me up. Wishbones will work up here. Most guys like Barcodes. Did you say motor is a 7.5? Glad to hear you aren't afraid to motor up.

I usually never change that value either. I need more pop though, I think it could be that my gearing is not where it needs to be honestly, and I was running the smartsense setup so no cheat functions.

The current layout can handle more motor. Love the duo 3 motors. I am from Warrensburg, so if I visit my folks ther, I may have to drive on over to KC to see you all. I have met some folks that drive up your way. Very nice peeps.
