EXCELLENT race day for AE at the houston TOys for Tots event !! 150 entries with almost 40 SC. i got Q2 and won the A main. Sym won the B main bumping him to the A where he finished 5th. sour diesel got into the B main but got marshall screw while working his way up to second! the center dif has proven its weight in gold! SYm and i were both running them with no issues and great performance! Once again strategy played an important role. SMiley (who is just freakin fast!!) runs a losi and i KNEW that if i was able to push him, he would not make the full ten minutes. With that in mind i ran as hard as i could and stayed within 10 seconds of him so he could not "cruise", everytime he tried to slow down i would get within 2 seconds of him, i actually lead the first few laps until i made a small error and he got around me. well needless to say around 9m45sec he dumped as well as all of the other losi's (and somehow even SYM????) i passed him and got the win!! i would rather be able to just beat him straight up, but i got nothing for him yet, its not my truck, its me!!

All and all RCshox 2 stage piston equipped vehicles won or Tq'd just about every class!

IS the Reggie Tongue listed on the sheets, the ex-football player?
what a night, had a total blast and while I got screwed by the marshal I still walked away with a smile, Mantis and Sym were on top of their game last night and pulled off some good victories, can't wait for the next big race!
Nice job Marcus!
I race PRCR Toys for Tots race Saturday. I missed TQ by .7 seconds but we had almost a full lap on the entire field. We ran triple 5 minute A's. I won A1 but made some poor set-up changes giving me second overall. I think I need to leave my overdrive pulley at home next time.
I really wanted that to fix the low speed push I had on parts of the track. It did, BUT man was it hard to hang onto everywhere else.
Sometimes its best to leave things alone and drive it!!!

Cameron, all of your problems will be solved by this weekend

Just installed the Exotek saddle pack brackets.... look very good, but hate the sharp edges. Going to take a while to use to them. Almost ripped the balance cables on my Thunderpower saddle pack, no issues with my Orion's.

Guys, the center ball diff is freaking awesome... no more tippy toeing on throttle
I did finish the race, but dumped after I crossed the finish line, probably because i was able to drive it so hard.
the only downside to the center diff is that you will wear tires out faster due to traction and you may use more battery.... but it makes the truck easyer to drive and faster, and it also has better on power steering, and corners more consistently, and brakes better, and allows someone like me to look like a good driver

If the edges are sharp, lightly wet sand(don't want to breath that dust) them and then run a bead of super glue around them. We used to do this in on road so the tape would not break holding down the batteries or have the chassis cut into are now old school 6 cell packs.
