Guys if you're having com problems with the port I'll ask you what type of computer you're using? If it's a laptop or netbook make sure that ONLY the Hotwire is plugged into a USB port, any USB port. Some of the laptops/netbooks don't provide much power via the USB's and if more than one is plugged in at any given time the lack of voltage can cause com issues. Something we saw at the Nats on a guy who had all 4 ports on his laptop "working."

There is nothing to clear. It doesn't save any data. I try to clear it before I run it and it still has no data after I bring it back in.
It's not a powering the Hotwire issue, it's a connection into the fan port issue. If you gently wiggle the Hotwire adapter at the fan port you can see the rx8 LEDs turn on and off.
