I'm going to have to try, on the layout change a month ago i only ran a full pack and it seems fine... i did run a shorty on the last layout but that was much bigger jumps and a faster track, this has many more small and tight jumps and fast tight turns...also the key on a set is to square up as best you can on them on they will throw you car straight up just because of the way they are built..

I drove a buddies car and with a shorty pack it felt very fast, and had a lot of steering but was hard to square up on the jumps...
