Default donation build

Anyone have a set of RTR shocks and turnbuckles/ball studs for our donation build. Also need a layshaft and thumb screw for battery hold down.

http://www.rctech.net/forum/arizona-...ion-build.html

I'd be willing to give some cash but not a lot.

Trying to finish for the Grand Opening of our track, it will be used as a loaner for our kids RC Program.

Thanks
Vince

I would start around a 28/72 and go from there, i was at about 30/72 with the reedy motor and i know that the novaks like to be geared higher than most anything else out there.

Building my worlds kit, I got a couple shorty lipos to run in this car. Just curious about a good starting point for the battery placement I bought an extra big spacer foam to cut up, was thinking just starting it dead center in the battery slot. Any advice? Also this will be my stock buggy.
Thanks

Hey guys quick question regarding Regular Lipo VS Shorty. What are the differences you noticed when switching from the Regular Lipo to the Shorty? Was there anything you didnt like about the short battery? I had a 22 and have a couple short batterys left and was wondering what the differences where.

Thanks in advance!

car is way more nimble, jumps and lands 100 times better, you won't wanna run a full size ever again in this buggy

I was told on higher bite tracks, stick with full size or wolf pack, but low bite packs use the shorty to reduce the pendulum effect. Never did get to try it.

The Avid BB springs work great, I did go up on my oil by 2.5 weight over the stock springs

Do you still bottom out with them? I was chassis slapping with 32.5 f/27.5 r granted the jumps were on the bigger side.

I'm not that good enough to be able to downside consistently.

fun driving it, the +8 really made it a lot easier to drive.

I copied some of the local pros and use the shorty with a 1/2 pad up front, and a cut down SC10 pad in the rear. Some guys put a 1/4oz of weight in front of the receiver and that's it. Oh ya and the ballast weight in the rear. That's all no other weight. My car is very balanced and jumps perfectly. I use Losi BB springs. Red front, white rear. Best set up I have had yet. I really like the way it handles. Very controlled. I run a 13.5, and the track is either SRS or Glitch in AZ. All I do is change springs and tires to accommodate each track.

I'm going to have to try, on the layout change a month ago i only ran a full pack and it seems fine... i did run a shorty on the last layout but that was much bigger jumps and a faster track, this has many more small and tight jumps and fast tight turns...also the key on a set is to square up as best you can on them on they will throw you car straight up just because of the way they are built..

I drove a buddies car and with a shorty pack it felt very fast, and had a lot of steering but was hard to square up on the jumps...
