if you could force out the cross pin first somehow (tapping it out or using a vise to press it out) it should make it easier to remove the set screw depending on how much and type of loctite used on...

I've been using one (S6070) for two years or so with no problems in my 22 buggies. Maybe not as lightning fast as some others, but plenty of speed and torque for a 22. No complaints here.
