I have been running the gold screws since March...

I have been running the gold screws since March 2012 in my competition rcdrift chassis and they hold up really well.
Only the front two screws that keep the foam bumper mounted had some gold scraped...

You're much better off with a used competition chassis (Cyclone, TRF etc.).
Or if you want a new chassis i would recommend a Tamiya TA05 (If you don't...

Most people over here use HPI t-drifts (or the R2 replica's) on asphalt or concrete.
