The best way to get them to fit is to run the original T1 chassis, as this puts the servo more to the rear of the car.

Ah yes, but it is lower than it would have been if contained in a wire. Plus you can move it around the chassis to alter the lateral and longitudinal weight distribution, and therefore the handling.

Definitely the low ratio pulley set, it does free up the transmission quite a bit.

As for the others, it depends on the track you are running on (one-way/spool) and how your car is handling.
