I had not tried it personally. But one of my customer did and he said it will not work even with a booster or extra receiver pack...... Please correct me if I am wrong.....

Agree with you. I do like the ball diff a lot better. Gear diff think only good for extreme traction, like carpet...... As the ball diff simply cannot take so much "load", traction.......

5mm kyosho shims, just put it on the steering assembly post under the bearing. Do not use too much, give it a little free play so it will rotate freely even if you get some dirt on it after you run...
