The hub carrier has a little bit more material...

The hub carrier has a little bit more material top and bottom on the "6" the king pin screws sit in a recess top and bottom

A pic might explain it abit better

Wtb kyosho tc

I'm after a kyosho TC, tf5-tf6 , nothing too beaten up but I don't mind a little work, I wouldn't require body,wheels ect but a few parts might be handy

I found a lot of the slop was from the crank arm moving up and down slightly, I found a shim...

the bodys seems to have come over as a spare part with the kits here in the uk so yes you can buy them, but with you being in Aus maybe worth trying where you got the kit from?

I think you will also have problems with the diff , as the 4.1 has metric out drive bearings you will need the old style t4/b4 out drives along with the correct bearing also
