If you are using the kit parts and you remove the spacers it will result in 2 mm of play between your diff and the diff mount. The bearings and the diff will move around like crazy. I wouldn't do it.

Got an 8ight-XE kit today. First thing I looked at was the rear center dog bone length. It measures 100 mm end to end, and when compared with the schematic in the manual it is easily 10 mm longer....

Pretty sure Frank said don't run two-gear with plastic gears. Two-gear with steel diff gears only. Run thinner oil and stick with 4 gears.

My Hudy setup stands fit over the axles fine, but I have to use the wider XB4 spacers to properly tighten up the wheelnuts. The standard washers are about 1mm too thin.
