We try to wet the track before we race usually but in the hot southern sun the moist doesnt last long. Good luck.

I have never traveled with a lipo but if it were me I would charge them at storage rating and then maybe wrap in bubble wrap or something and go baggage. I would not recommend trying to carry them...

+1 the watt rating is very important especially if you setting up a system with an esc that is not in a combo. You need to be sure your motor current draw and battery voltages will not cook the ESC....
