Hello,

Does anyone have a link to a pic of the "new" CK 3.2? I looked on their site but found nothing. Found nothing searching other ways too.

Hey Geppetto

I wonder if there are any advantages regarding electrical efficiency with either configuration. Does anyone know? Wish I knew I had the option.=)

You'll be fine with the specs. of that Air. servo or something with comparable specs. It seems Air., Futaba, KO make good ones. Plus, the weight savings would be a plus for you.

I agree with Matt - The difference appears to be the manner in which the wires are connected to the ESC.

That's the first ESC I've seen with that plug type connection. It seems that I'd be easier...

Stormperson,

I was actually thinking of getting the IRS conversion, axle, and diff after learning how to drive a 1/12 with the stock AE, maybe next season.

Ray,

Thank you. I'll look into it after trying to shim first. Also, I'll probably invest in the IRS rear pod. Supposedly, it allows about 2.5mm more ground clearance equaling longer rear tire...

Stormperson,

Thanks. I had wondered about rear tire spacing from the center line of chasis. I did buy shims earlier in order to run the TRC tires, so I do have some handy. The manual wasn't very...

Graphitedust,

Thanks for the advice. Those plastic pieces have pushed in fully so they are flush with the inside of the bulkheads. Yeah, and I had to do some sanding to get those things to fit the...

I'm using the .075 T-bar. I was thinking of adding more AE diff. lube to the discs. At some point I'll try the damper tubes . . . I thought I'd make the basic kit my starting point...

Mike D.,

Yeah, I did use the inline axles. Now it makes sense. The only reason I tried those was to use the TRC tires I had already bought. The manual states explicitly that they will make the car...

Mike D.

I have a 12L3 that's all stock except servo mount. I cut the tires to your suggested 44m front and 49mm rear. Ride height was at best 3.02mm. Couldn't get it to 3.5. It seems that using the TRC tires...

I think I've ruined a brand new freshly cut Ascari body. I did not realize that the 12L3 front body posts would not work with that body. Do they work with any style body?

What body posts are...

Bodies

Hi,

Has anyone tried the Ascari (Protoform) body, or know someone who has? If so, will a kit with damper tubes work with it?

Thanks DRoot, DPowell

It's too bad that smaller increments in rear ride height aren't possible. I'm guessing that's when cutting the tires comes into play. I was just courious whether the...
