I like the body and tires on it. The wheelie bar is better looking then if you kept the wing.

My question is, what's the purpose to the bar connecting the shock towers? you kept the stock braces...

You may have gotten the wrong Associated springs. I have them on my Kraton and they work and fit perfectly. I'll check and see if I still have the part numbers to reference.

It's the shock body diameter. Most spring sizes are based off the shock diameter and the general spring length. I haven't tried the Durango ones yet though.
