My Kraton with T-Bone bumpers pix.....
I finally got my bumpers. Took about 2 weeks to arrive but that's not too bad considering they are made to order. Here's my initial thoughts. The 1st thing I noticed when I tore open the package was how big they are! I mean these things are huge (especially the front) when holding them in hand but they are made from what seems to be VERY durable and flexible plastic. All the holes lined up perfectly and once installed they seemed like the perfect size for the vehicle.
I know many wont agree and that's fine but I'm feeling the way the truck looks with the bumpers. Yeah they stick out but the protection I gained is worth it in my opinion. One drawback to the size of the front bumper is if your into jumping steep ramps, the bumper will most likely scrap. I mostly bash in the street, so my main concerns are hitting curbs and other urban obstacles so its perfect for city bashing. I was hoping the rear bumper would scrap before the wing during wheelies but unfortunately the wing will still hit first at least until its grind down a little. I haven't tested the durability yet but I'm extremely happy with the looks and the initial impressions of the bumpers. Ill update after I inevitably smack a few things. They may not be for everyone but hopefully this post will help you decide either way. Check out the pics......

I'm learning some freestyle moves on a steep ramp with my buggy and truggy. I tried a PVC bumper which broke within 5 seconds !
let us know if it holds the abuse !

I definitely will! A couple of friends have them and they told me the bumpers have been almost indescribable but I wanted to form my own opinion.

Cool.. To each his own.
I'm definitely a believer in function over form when it comes to RC's - i.e. it has to be durable more than anything else. But that bumper - again, IMO.. - crosses a line.. That's just too much disregard for looks in my book... That's like putting a snow plow on the front of a Ferrari...

I only have the front on mine and I like it! Need to order the rear. It wasn't available when I ordered the front.

I'm waiting on the rear to arrive , front ends been indestructible so far , just the rear wing snapped in rear , Will see if this takes some pressure off it and will put original brace back on but so far the redcat wing mount has stood up to all the abuse . Also adding 5000k to center diff helps , need now to put some fluids in the outer ones just grease from factory
