The wheelbase is 282mm and a normal T5M is 289mm....

The wheelbase is 282mm and a normal T5M is 289mm. If I wanted I could shave the back of the rear arms and bring it to 284 easy enough. So far it goes alright at 282, just finding the set up so far....

It's possible to get a gear diff to work on dirt but it would need to be a fairly thin weight oil otherwise...

Given how long it's taken for a T6 to come out or even be talked about by Associated I doubt we'll ever see one. Most likely it'll be skipped and a T7 will come out after a B7. I couldn't be bothered...
