I didn't design the ESC but why not? the wire is insulated. If any thing if a post fails it wont ground out on another post or fry your battery.

My 1900 Tekin has a sweet spot to low a gear it runs hot to high it runs hot. I think its possible to over rev them so to speak if the gear is to low it runs at full load more often.
