Yes, in theory, but if the car maintains more corner speed then that more than offsets any perceived lack of acceleration. You don't need to accelerate as much when you're already going fast.

They have beefed up the front bulkheads too. Both are running changes. Rumor is that both are also now using a better aluminum, but I can't confirm that.
