Default Not sure were it goes

I have been in the rc community for about five days. With that said I broke my gearbox cover and had to replace it. When doing so I removed the motor to brush underneath for any rocks. This little metal piece came popping out and I have no idea where it goes. If someone could tell me or post a picture showing I would be grateful.

I would also go with incidental debris if it doesn't match any parts shown in the cars' expanded view diagram that should be in your manual.

It almost looks like a brush holder for a brushed motor.

Thanks guys. I'm going with incidental pick up. I got her back together last night and she seems to be operating running fine.

I see it's a Vaterra, find the thread for your specific model and ask there. If it goes with the car they will recognize it easily.

Haha, I thought it was a brush holder at first too. Then I realized that the super cheap brushed motors just use a thin copper sheet to hold the brushes.
