Default Blue Groove?

I've been offroad rc racing for six months and I still don't know what 'blue groove' is with tracks. I keep seeing tyres stating they are good for this but have no idea what that track condition is. Assuming 'blue groove' is a good thing?

Its when rubber is laid down on the track from the tires, and it has a blue hue to the line.

And if enough rubber is laid down, a track can even progress to being "black groove."

Back to the original post, a "blue-groove" tire is generally going to be one that will work best on a hard-packed, dust-free surface, even if an actual blue groove hasn't formed yet.
