SCT newbie but want to run a second class
So I just recently started racing at my local track in the Rookie class for short course trucks.
I've only participated in 2 race days in the past year, but when I get out there I don't want to waste so much time.
I really enjoy the race days, but I find myself waiting about 1-1.5 hours to run in the following qualifier. I wanted to know if people would recommend running a second class of truck. Possibly buggy (AE b4.1?) so that I would at least get some more track time and less time just sitting around.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
If there are any recommendations for other classes those are welcome as well
Thanks

If you really want to hone your skills 2wd 1/10 buggy is the way to go. IMO hardest class there is but will make you a better overall driver. B4.2 will be out soon.

Thanks for the input guys. Any other suggestions for additional classes?

I usually race 2WD SC, 4WD SC, Stadium Truck, and 1/8 Nitro Buggy all in the same night. my favorite would be Stadium Truck.

+1 for 2wd buggy. You have to learn racer's etiquette or else people are always on you for doing something stupid. It's one of the reasons why it's also one of the hardest classes to be in.
When you feel confident in stock 2wd buggy, graduate to mod, then if you feel confident from there put a 4mod buggy together.

OR...race weekly club races with less entries....OR...if you have 2 local tracks, wait till there is a big race at one track, and race at the other one...OR...run practice days
