Greetings and salutations all,
I just recently got into 1/10 touring with no real experience with RC cars. I'm starting off with a XRAY T3R which uses 84t 48p spur gears (I'm presuming without going back to the instruction manual) and I'm using a Tekin Redline 17.5 motor and RS esc. Now I believe their is some kind of math formula to determine the pinion gear in relation to the spur gear and tire size ( I just purchased a set of 4 1/10 Sweep 32R w/wheels so I could get some track time in). I also like to note that I would be running on asphalt for the remainder of the summer before switching to carpet in the fall and winter. So all in all, I'm trying to figure out what would be the best pinion gear to run of asphalt.
