Default waste..

Buying stuffs which you don't really need for now specially if you're new to the hobby/racin'. Some guys buy alot of hop-ups hoping it'll make em' go fast around the track. Just to realize they are fast,,,,"across" the track that is.

Buying only the essentials will keep you from getting frustrated and eventually quit. Also it'll save you alot of cash, too! for future expenses like parts. tires and stuffs. If you're new Just run what you brung,, and time will come you will be one of the fast guys on the track,, that's a sure thing!

Dont know if this is a common one but when I first starting running my nitro buggy I didnt install a failsafe. Thought to myself ah ill get one next week.

Long story short something interefered with signal and buggy took off at local car park while breaking in. Hit a curb at full pelt. Luckily the only thing that broke was steering servo horn.

I installed a failsafe the very next day along with a servo horn.

I didn't do enough research. Mainly on taking care of it. My first month I went through 2 motors and an ESC. Then came speed. I've replaced many, many parts. (We're about 2-3 months in now.)

I upgraded my tires. Sweeeeet. Damn....glued one on wrong.

The main thing for me was not knowing what an issue heat is.

I honestly havent done any on that list, except for maybe glueing my fingers together.

But I have done what chase said, but I still love my MT though, just wish I would have bought a truggy instead of ANOTHER MT.
