Be very careful with the wd40, my friend sprayed motor spray(close enough), and after he spayed it, he waited only about 1 second, them mashed the gas, and the whole rear half of the car blew up in a huge flame ball, because of the spark. Turned all the plastic white, and singed the wires.

I can imagine, a guy asked me to do the old flame thrower trick with some buggy blast at the track a few months ago. GREAT RESULTS! Stupid thing to do, *totally* and I won't be doing it again anytime soon. What a waist of motor spray.

Default Spraying WD40 on the Comm?

Guys;

1) Motor spray WILL evaporate in about a minute if used to clean out your Motor and leaves no residue.

2) WD-40 is designed NOT to evaporate and WILL leave an oily residue inside your Motor.
This oily film when on the Com and Brushes, will burn from the normal arcing of the Brushes and cause a LOSS of electrical contact and performance.
