Nicad will charge with NiMh setting, there are plenty of chargers around that can charge both w/o the need of a setting changes although there is a tiny small difference in full detection.

But you can alway's look up the the manual as a PDF file and read how NiCads are charges. Also I want to warn you to be sure it can charge one cell Nixx, not all chargers can do that.

Default Manual

I attached the manual. As it doesn't state it, does it mean it can maybe do an ignitor?

MIHM batteries were a little more "sensitive" than NICADs so back in the day charging a NIHM with a NICAD charger could damage (cause to catch fire) as the charger did not see the Nihm as "FULL".

Using a NIHM setting to charge a NICAD could result in a false "peak"/Full change but the NICAD could be changed via a NIHM setting (or so we all believed in the late 90's.
