That is real bad. It is really sad when people at model shows get injured let alone killed. I refuse point blank to use fail safe as I believe they are more dangerous than flying without it. Its bad enough that the failsafe kicks in when there is interference but I have seen them kick in for no reason due to fault in the board (Thats when the real damage occurs). I have never had Radio failure yet but then I use a $1000 radio and get it maintained frequently.

The upside is I have been flying for over 20yrs and can luckily say I have only ever had one crash when I was learning to fly. Silly bugger walked across the flightline as I was on final. Engine flooded up and died when I give instant full power and full up elevator and the plane stalled in.
