Red face Stupid Question??

OK was wondering on a Mamba Monster ESC which way the wires go?

Is it

1.) black/red,white,red/black?

Or

2.) Black/red, red/black, white?

Or

3.) White, red/black, black/red?

Because I've always ran it the 1st. Been searching online for the answers but all I come up with is the wires can go any which way. But I switched to the 2nd & 3rd way depending on motor running in reverse and the ESC and motor ran hotter than the 1st way.

Maybe people here can have the answers.

Thanks

The motor should not run any hotter regardless of the order unless you have a bad solder connection on one of the wires.

On sensorless motors, the wire orientation does not matter. Plug it in how ever it works best for your chassis. I typically run 2 or 3 because it better matches the order of the wires coming out of the motor.
