If so that jumper wire should come with the servo.

We haven't released the upcoming Hotwire update which will initiate with the servos. It's nearly here, and a public release will be posted on social media, etc.

Your HW2 will work on the Servos.

Just about to order a t120 for my vta car, and I wanted some advice on which servo to get for my mt410.

I think a t440 will work perfect but wanted to see what is suggested. I will be running it on 8.4 volts and the factory servo saver.

The guys at Tekin suggested the T-300 for my truggy. The mt410 is basically a truggy, so the T-300 or anything stronger should be right at home. Just depends how fast you want the servo speed to be or what other vehicles you might want to use it in down the road.

Still haven't taken pictures of the gears. Sorry about that.

No worries about the pictures.

Thank you for confirming what I figured.

Got my T-120 and it is phenomenal! the speed is breathtaking, the positioning is 'BOOM' accurate, no overshoots even from a full travel swing. To top it off, the packaging is minimalist sweet.

If you were to run a tekin servo with a tekin RSX. Would you be able to data log your steering ? Radio would be a MT-44 with RX-482 not sure if that even matters ha

Thanks

My order finially showed up and these are some nice servos, I plan to post some pics when I get a chance to play with them.

Thought I would post some pictures of a T120. Overall very nice servo, it feels really damn smooth just turning it by hand. I noticed that the packaging looks to be hand cut, 3rd picture down you can see the uneven lines. Not a bad thing, just interesting.

The gears look nice, beefy and very well done. I did notice the gear on the motor output is brass. I'm thinking this is the sacrificial part in the drive train.

Are these hand assembled? it looks like the PCB and Motor are solder together by hand

This is a really nice servo, the only thing I wish it had was the ability to store the excess servo wire in the body of the servo. Radiopost servo's do this and its a very nifty feature.

Please tell me how you get the 8.4v sweet servo too

Darkgenerals 03-29-2018 05:54 AM

Couple of photo's of the serves installed in the cars. I havnt had a chance to run either one, but so far just bench testing and both of these are outstanding. The T440 at 8.4 volts is a beast, and has no problems turning 3.8 tires on my MT410 very quickly.

No, a cool idea however.

Tekin new servo youtube

Why is thier no info in package about the connection of servo. Does the white lines mean negative - or is it signal wire?
Why is thier no video of someone install and setting up new tekin servo? Was the software update yet?

Yeah would love to see this. I’m doing it with my current setup. Sanwa servo and a sanwa esc.

No offense this is a hard read...

You buy a high end servo and are confused on plugging it in... Treat it like a Futaba same wire configuration and shape, and sure its pretty standard.

Signal is white
