Bought last week: very very impressive, the best product i think !
At the end a interesting test versus mylaps (myRCm) ! Just done by myself : |
When I ordered, I was given option to wait for the new waterproof transponder. Looks like right choice |

I watched a few of the videos and it looked like you were having some issues with it tracking all the laps. Did you manage to resolve that?

Driving on wet track track it is ok as only the transponder may be be exposed to lots of water |

Yes. The factory bodies on the 4Tec and Kyosho were blocking the signal. Both are thick compared to most tourng car or aftermarket buggy bodies. Since moving the transponder to the outside body. I’ve not missed any laps. A light painted body or leaving a clear spot for transponder is best bet. If/when I get to St.Charles. You are welcome to check it out. We're currently designing some holder to easily install the transponder on the cars. Some are already available on 1:10 buggy and few 1:8th buggy Lilke this one for B6.1 https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.rct...6b85a6691e.jpg LapMonitor transponder holder for B6.1 https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.rct...88edb31d4f.jpg https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.rct...a559d1bdc3.jpg A very simple way to install the transponder on most 4WD brushless 1:10th and 1:8th scale is to install it on top of central diff https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.rct...26b479739d.png https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.rct...6a7836a37c.jpg https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.rct...2c61e40210.jpg |

Most races of the champioship are on dirt track If your car is covered with mud it won't work but dust is ok |
