Your going to love this timing device. ;)
I’m starting with 4 transponders. We’ve had a “for fun” 1/18 scale racing at local HobbyTown for years. Last year a few times they ran Euro Truck. And they work well on the small, tight 1/18 layout. Having a timing system might get few more interested. See how it goes in few weeks. |

Just ordered a system plus 3 transponders. I’ll have 4 transponders. |
I've been using LapMonitor for about 6 months now... absolutely love it when I spend time at the track and the track timing is off. I run it on 3 of our vehicles and monitor with the Android app. Huge fan. :D

How much did that cost with shipping? If you don't care to answer, that's cool too.

Thanks for the info Billy 👍 |
https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.rct...c89477976.jpeg Arrived. These are the newer transponders. Supposed to be waterproof. Not that plan to run in rain. But when they asked, figured can’t hurt. |
https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.rct...f9d3261e71.png First test with the lap monitor. Works fine. No problem with transponder under body being blocked. I’ve had this with the Zeppin system. Did have to be sure transponder was facing toward the timer as it passed. Same as the Zeppin. I’ll try to get a basic video up soon. Need my small camera |
Had a small problem yesterday with it. Similar to the Zeppin. Wasn’t counting every lap. If wasn’t passing within 3 feet, it missed lap. |

Was the transponder facing a painted body area ? To get good range the transponder must be in front of a clear body area like the window or a hole Could you post a picture of your transponder install ? Thanks, Franck |

Working great tonight. Almost too much range now. It picked up transponder during a spin, a good 15 feet away. |

This setup is awesome!! Going to pick one up in a bit |
