Default Receiver and servo wire burned

Hi everyone, my savage x battery caught on fire and melted the wires. I bought new wire and connectors but I can't find a good way to crimp the connectors on. I know that there is a crimp tool but is there a way to do it without one? I already got the wires replaced too. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I do a lot of my own custom servo leads and to answer your question, not really. IF you're REALLY good with a tiny needle nose pliers you MIGHT get the ends crimped to where they will work and slide into the servo plug, but I would say it's unlikely.

Can you tell me how to do it or direct me to somewhere that shows how to correctly do it because I want it to look and perform good and I have no idea how to do it.

MIP makes a crimp tool for like 20 bucks or so. Some people say it sucks, but I've used mine with zero problems.

You'll find plenty of links associated with those vids on good crimpers and how too.

May as well consider buying a crimper cause sooner/later, your gonna need it again and again, and again!

None of those will work for servo leads. Here are the two I know of, you will need pins and connectors as well.

Cheap option: some people don't care for this tool, but I find it to work just fine.

More expensive option: these crimpers ratchet down and will not open until the crimp is completed. I have a pair of these for larger connectors and they work very well.

Steel Grip 4 Way Electrical Crimping Tool - Bolt & Wire Cutters & Crimpers - Ace Hardware
I actually have this one. Would it work? I just want something local because it gives me something to do.

Those crimp standard barrel connectors down to 22awg, most servo wire is 24 or 26 and also uses a totally different style of terminal.

If you're dead set on not buying new crimpers, I've used very small needle nose pliers and then added a touch of solder.
