Can you swap two of the motor leads so that the car goes in reverse when the trigger is pulled on a sensored setup? If so, swap a pair of wires. If the problem still happens when you pull the trigger, probably transmitter, I'd think. If problem follows car direction then it's something else.
Then again, if you've tried different batteries, three different motors, two different esc's, and two receivers, there's pretty much only the transmitter left in the equation. |

Tried new transmitter, still the same. In the process of testing everything I managed to pop 2 receivers. So i swapped out the Savox servo in the car for an old one as I was worried the servo could have damaged the esc and the receiver 3rd esc and new receiver fitted, all sorted. So basically I think the savox servo had a fault that immediately damaged something inside the original esc and the new esc as soon as it was hooked up |
Thanks for the update! Nice when people do that so that others can maybe use it as a way to check if they have the same problem.

Glad you were able to figure it out! Sorry so many pieces of equipment had to die in the process though.
I've never owned a Savox servo but have heard more bad things about them than good, overall. This situation reinforces that. |
that bites messing up all that electronics
