Mine went out after a few months. Worked one race day then on the next, nothing. I took both the base and battery tray apart and cant find any issues on the circuit board. Have a new one coming.

Just got it, small issue

Just picked up the 7PXR, linked 5 cars right away. On the electric models, once they bound the throttle was moving forward slowly on all of them. I had to turn the throttle trim back to 12 on the brake side to keep it at neutral.
can’t seem to find any info on this, is it normal?

thanks.

For each vehicle/Rx, did you remember to calibrate the throttle? If not, that's probably the 'problem'.

I did not calibrate the throttle, I will try that tonight. Thank you.

whenever you change the radio or Receiver the ESC will need to be Calibrated. ON ANY BRAND

The 'recalibrating' also applies (on any brand) whenever you update the ESCs firmware and/or you change the ESCs programming. Essentially, the 'Rule of Thumb' should be, "Anytime ANY chances are made to the hardware and/or software (be it firmware, or programming changes), calibrating the throttle should ALWAYS be done, and or should ALWAYS be the final step." In getting everything programmed for my no-prep drag car, no matter how minut the changes are, I will ALWAYS recalibrate the throttle before heading the latest changes, which is also my SOP for my race vehicles.

Does anyone know of a phone mount holder? To mount your phone to the transmitter to record as you drive?

Question. When looking at the manual it says something about only setting the receiver to SR mode when using a specific type of servo? The chart seems a little confusing. So if you have linked a R334SBS-E receiver to the radio and your using a protek 160t servo, would you want to set it to T-FHSS or T-FHSS SR?

Also, do you need a specific type of ESC or Servo or something else for telemetry? Or should that just be turned off?

The SR are just Futaba Servos. It is a way to setup the parameter on a servo from your radio. I have used it on a couple of Futaba new server servo from my radio.

Ok, so you only want to set it to SR when your using a futaba SR servo. Has no other feature or benefit otherwise?

Now that I think about it, I think I have a futaba sr servo somewhere, or maybe it is just a sbus servo..if there is such a thing.

With the T-FHSS-SR mode you can select normal digital servo's to work with non-SR servo's.

I’ve searched, but couldn’t find the answer. What’s the difference between then R334SBS and R334SBS-E? I know the -E is for EP cars only, but what’s the actual difference between the two receivers?

choisan 05-28-2021 07:12 PM

E, i guess is without antenna

Anyone know of anything going on with a newer model? The 7pxr completely dropped off the order pages for a couple distributors but was there last week.

Just thought it was odd. I also noticed that the prices for 7 accessories were being marked down.

I am getting ready to order one but figured with my luck the new model will be announced next week. Lol
