Motor temp sensor on a nitro motor is a waste of time... it gives you no relevant info... unless you are the track by yourself!

why do you say that?

Futaba are usually pretty good about ensuring a new radio is updated, and has changes that are worth the extra $.

because if you are racing, depending on your tune, or your effort its going to change lap to lap, short of only using averages for high, mid and low temps its not going to tell you much. Secondly if you have raced for a while, you will receive more motor feedback from your driving, the sound of the motor and your Pitmans input...

I found it only of use during practice when i am on the track by myself. But even then i had only used it on my header, as the head readings became inconsistent. The header is away from the path of airflow and thus more stable. But that day has come and gone, and I no longer use it. Best telemetry use for me is monitoring my receiver pack voltage lol.

I hear you. Yeah not racing it’s just for bashing with my buddies. I can keep an eye on it. Want to get it for the nt48.3 and for my motor in my Arrma Kraton and Talion

It was enough of an update to essentially include a free receiver with the 7PX now... which means that this radio will at least cost what the 7PX did... I’m guessing a little bit more.

A question the 7px with which receiver comes with r304sb or r334sbs?

Looking at the current selection at A-Main, It looks like you actually have 3 choices: 334SBS-E or 334SB for $599, and for $65 more, the 304SB Telemetry receiver.

Never mind I got it! I used a different SD Card and it worked first shot. Its now on Version 4.0E For future reference is there a certain card that i uppoed to be used? As this one I used is an older 8GB micro SD HC
I was trying to use a PNY Elite micro SD XC 64GB and it wouldn't work Tried reformatting the card 3 times and then I tried a Full reformat instead of the Quick and it still didn't work.

And info...
I searched on the Futaba site, but there is no 7PXR yet. I'd like to know if it's just a cosmetic update or if there is also something changed under the hood.
