yeah guys I'm thinking the Sanwa for sure, from what I read the mt4s does not support code 10 and Im really interested in the Sanwa vortex gen 2 Esc I guess you can program the esc right from the radio, thing says its a 1000 amp phase peak, anyway the mt44 supports code ten and I'm also Looking at a Sanwa Servo I May just have to try out that new Affirm credit system at AMain 0 interest for 12 months only this month :)

I would grab that m12s but then my total would come out to about a grand im tryna keep it under 600 plus I kinda wanna see where the android cpu cell phone screen thing will go it might become the future of radios for all brands as that's about advanced as it gets ounce you start using mini quad core cpu's it will become all about software and updates as there will be no real need to update hardware.

I can say sanwa servo and receiver combos are fantastic. I run airtronics servo and RX in my 2wd short course and the steering response is snappy but smooth as butter.

I'd be interested to hear your experience with the Sanwa esc though if you do get it. I've been mulling it over whether it's worth switching from my current setup in my 4x4 sc to one of Sanwa ESC but I never had the cajones to cough up the cash lol

thats good to hear, and lmao Im in the same Boat ,I see there is a mt44 thread up top going strong with several pages I wonder if any of them are using the esc in conjunction ?

I guess we'll have to read through the thread to find out lol. But I wouldn't doubt it if some of them were running one. I'd definitely like to see how they compare to top esc's like the RX8 gen2 or the Orion R10. And of course the ever reliable hobbywing XERUN ESC's.

lol I just read through it there is a couple people using it and say its working good but thats about it, there's a gentlemen by the name Neil on there who just taught me everything I need to know, basicly sanwa tx/rx 101 I even feel smarter Im glad I red that. Im going to fill out an Affirm app and if all goes well place an order. ;)

there are two things I know for sure about the japanese, they Forge really nice swords and wheels and they build ridicules fast and powerful 4 cylinder engines so Im gonna go out on a limb and say its probable its a good esc.

Welcome to the Sanwa fanclub haha. And if you do get the Sanwa ESC be sure to update the thread with your experience because I may be the next one to jump ship. I know the new receivers in the ESC are backward compatible with fhss-3 transmitters so I should still be able to use my mx-3x with them.

Since you've already got a protek and if you liked it, try the 130t. I got it for about 80 on a main. I ran in it 8th scale buggy and now a yeti. Can't beat the specs. 355 oz at .08 seconds. Plenty fast for me

good call on going TX/RX before servo. you could do amain, but i got my MT-44 for $300 shipped and that came with a 482 and 472 receiver. same deal can be had at rcmart (although i would tend to think shipping might take longer. mine came in a week to the west coast).

hey don, yeah protek is great, honestly the best servo I've owned thus far, I even heard the pro's use them, Id prolly be more interested in the 150t if I were to stick with them. thing is a servo is only as fast as its counter parts radio ect ect so I may as well upgrade those items first.
