Charging jack
 

Hi, what charging jack does the 3pv use? I would like to charge my nimh's in a easy way.

Problem(s)
 

-I can't adjust the Channel-1 - Right EPA Settings without turning(and holding) the Steering Wheel to the right.
-the right indicator won't stay on Right to make changes. It's only ready to make Left changes. (something's wrong)

-On Sunday the Receiver turned itself off.
-I had to press the Link Switch to turn it back on.

I run the 3PV with a Hobbywing Xerun 120A v3.1 ESC, Reedy Sonic M3 10.5 Motor and Futaba R9451 Servo installed in a HPI RS4 Sport 3.
-I have to set the Sub-Trim - Channel 2 at 37 to get it to neutral.

Anyone had or have this problem?

(I run the Futaba 3PM-X with the KO Propo VSF-1 ESC and I never had this problem)

Everything is work'n normal now.
-to Set the Hobbywing Xerun 120A v3.1 ESC to the Radio:
- -set Channel 2 in Reverse

Can I bind 2 transmitters(3PV) to 1 receiver(R203GF)?

Interference ?
 

My son and I used both 3PV since 6 months without any issue. Both cars with R203GF receiver.
But early October, at our usual track, my son lost some range (drop to less than 3 meters) and I start to have some glitches / signal loss.
The local shop gave us a 4PM Tx for cross-checking and it was perfect with the 4PM.
Conclusion was the 2 3PV "failed" at the same time and decision was made to return the Tx to Futaba.

Futaba feedback is "Both 3PV are ok".
If I trust Futaba feedback, I'm now thinking that we were impacted by interference, but why only with the 3PV and not the 4PM (no receiver change) ?
Unfortunately, I did not check which system was used in both case between FHSS; S-FHSS and S-FHSS high speed.

Does anyone have similar experience or know interference sensibility between Futaba system (FHSS; S-FHSS;...) or Futaba Tx

Which servo are you running with this system?

Make sure you don't have the high speed setting on if it isn't a compatible servo. I had some trouble with compatibility with a KO Propo servo and the futaba system but only when run in the high speed mode.

One car has a Savox 1258, the other a Unity 6001L.
Both running smoothly for months before the incident.
I will try again this Sunday with attention to system setup + a check of T-FHSS with a 314 receiver.

Interference confirmed.
My son and I get both 3PV back from Futaba, and they ran like a charm today with 203 receivers and S-FHSS system.

i have got a LIFE pack for my 3pv now, I was going to buy the banana plug futaba charge lead for my charger,
is there anyway or anything I can buy to hookup to the Port on the 3pv that appears to charge something what exactly is this for? I have 2 3pvs now and no clue, thanks! in advance

the integrated Jack plug on the 3 PV is only for NIMH battery.
If you use LiFe 2S, you have to extract the battery for charging and balancing.

can you link me to a nimh battery that works well w/3pv and also the plug/power cord to go with it please for charging it? thanks!

The model is mentioned in the manual, searching with that on Ebay will give other suppliers of that model battery.

can someone link me to the NIMH you can install to charge using the port on this radio - also the charger that plugs into said port :)

do you recommend storing the life battery in storage mode when not using the radio or does it need to be?

im looking at the nimh as you dont need to do anything but plug it in, no removing charging, hell if you have to store them then that to :P

is there someway to UNPAIR another receiver previously paired? if so whats the instruction ->

im trying to ensure if a radio i paired with my sons radio or rx vise versa he turns it on his radio it doesnt mess with anything else.

I believe you just need to reset the Model No. where that car is stored.
