Can you explain the throttle minimum and how it effects the performance? I am running 17.5 gen 3 with the rs gen 2 esc and want to understand allt he settings do in the esc and this one is the only one I don't understand yet.

Is there any chance that Tekin will sell just the stators for their Gen 3 motors any time soon?

Andy, not at this time but we've had the conversation. I don't see many people swapping parts between two stators in my area. Do you?

What kind of temps are you seeing from the motor in what amount of run time? Playing with the current limiter will help. (Average setting is 60-80)

Ok TLR Truggy geared 15/45 with the 2000kv is good on a large track. If it's not large, you may need to drop a tooth here.

How big is the track? What is the longest straight away?

For comparison I ran this gearing at AMS and Silver Dollar where the tracks had a 200ft straight.

What is ambient temp when you run?

No, you won actually. The RSX isn't going anywhere. Matter of fact it's about to get that much better in the next ........

I really enjoy my Tekin stuff and I am excited to see what they have in works now and I will most defiantly tell all my racing friends about the new stuff when it comes out. I don't know what they can make better then the stuff they have now but maybe a IOS app but that is all.

So for Torque Level.. say you originally had Current Limiter set at 60.. would setting Torque Level at 6 be the exact same thing?

Remote data clearing looks great! Reminds me of the old Tekin 410K remote switch off.

I guess the Android app will catch up? At the moment it says "incompatible"

What are the additional features with the new software update?
Also how would I update it when I use my android tablet Hotwire app??

I have just seen the update information for rsx, do you have any base setups that team drivers have been using. I'm using xray xb4 and xb2 with 6.5t for xb4 and 7.5t for xb2

trying to bind and program my flysky gtb-c radio to the tekin rs gen 2 with 8.5t redline motor. It seems to bind correctly but when i go to program the esc it just beeps and is unable to find neutral...i have no throttle or steering and have tried changing servo reverse settings...battery is fully charged on in radio and car...please help

I'm sure you can widen the neutral width using the hotwire. Mine is at 15 with an old Futaba Field Force 3 to cope with any wandering of the pot.

If the receiver and radio are bound properly then you should have steering, regardless if the esc needs calibrated or not... Make sure Servo and ESC are plugged into receiver the correct way.

App update should be pushing to the PlayStore shortly.

I tried for an hour last night trying to download the new version to update my escs. And I can't download anything off the tekin site. I tried everything I could with ie browser and still couldn't get it to download?

I haven't put it out on the street or taken it to the track yet, but I can immediately feel the brake changes.. no more "Tekin Squeak".. much smoother now.

I'm excited to play with the rest of the settings!

Have you tried using another browser? I was able to use IE just now and had no issues downloading it. What OS are you running also?

ok so I was able to download it just now also, but for some reason last night wasn't working.

Now the problem I am having is it wont work on my phone and I cant find an update button of any kind on google play store. I have also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app like 10x :weird: keeps telling me version not supported... I was going to go test it at the track tonight.

I just downloaded it from the Google Play Store, installed with no issues. Samsung Galaxy S6 Android Ver. 6.01

All features available, but some got cropped off in my screenshot.

Are there any *New* driver setups available with this new release? I checked the Driver Setup page for 1/8 Buggy on Team Tekin but all the setups are still outdated:

I run Tekin in all of my cars, buggies, truggies, etc. I do not have a pc. I have apple computers, and an iPhone. At the track last week there were 17 racers all with Tekin esc and all with iPhones. Non of us could program our escs with our phones. I give up! What is a inexpensive alternative to a PC. Do they make a cheep tablet that is PC based that would work. I saw some Android tablets that had USB and wifi on them. Is there any of these that would your? I wish Tekin and Apple would have an app for the iPhone. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

Simply go here: www.teamtekin.com/hotwire.html and download the "exe" version, it's easier to use so you don't have to unzip it.

I've been playing with this update all morning and all I can say is wow! It is almost like a completely different speed control, the way you can dial it in to your particular driving style is amazing and the new smoothness between throttle and brake, outstanding.

Much props Team Tekin.. this last update hit it out of the park.
