Default IR Thermometer Temp Gun - what are you using?

What do you guys and gals use to check your temps? How much did you pay? Would you recommend it? Links would be appreciated!

General Tools & Instruments Mini Infrared Thermometer from Lowes. Very small and under $25. Works great.

I am using the Exergen temp gun which I've had for many years. Its a great temp gun but quite pricy. I have been impressed by the accuracy of my fellow racers much cheaper guns including both the Raytek and the skyrc units. The repeatability, i feel, is better on the exergen as the head of the gun fits nicely into the engine head so the position of temp measurement is the same precisely each time. I would buy another exergen rather than a cheaper alternative however thats just me.

Thanks everybody, I ended up ordering the SkyRC IR thermometer on amazon for $37, I really like that it uses AAA batteries not coin cells. I'll try to remember to update the thread with how I like it!

Just wanted to update and say that I've been using the SkyRC IR thermometer for about a month now and I'm quite happy with it so far.

I'm currently using a Tempgun TG1. Accurate within about 2-3 degrees F and it was only about $20. I've had it for about 2 years now and the factory battery still shows full on the display.
